OpenLiteSpeed Stack
Overview
The ols stack uses OpenLiteSpeed — a high-performance open-source web server with built-in LiteSpeed Cache support. It offers:
- Built-in page caching via LiteSpeed Cache plugin
- LSPHP (LiteSpeed PHP) — typically faster than PHP-FPM for WordPress
- Admin panel at
https://domain.tld:7080(when PMA is enabled) - Bedrock support via
ols-bedrock
Creating a Site with OLS
demyx run domain.tld --stack=ols --sslLSPHP Version
OLS uses LSPHP instead of PHP-FPM. Switch the PHP version:
demyx config domain.tld --php=8.4For OLS, this sets DEMYX_APP_OLS_LSPHP. Supported: 8.3, 8.4.
LiteSpeed Cache
Enable the built-in LiteSpeed Cache:
demyx config domain.tld --cache=trueThis installs the LiteSpeed Cache plugin and configures it. Caching is handled at the server level for maximum performance.
OLS Admin Panel
Enable phpMyAdmin-style access to OLS admin:
demyx config domain.tld --pma=trueThe OLS admin panel is accessible at port 7080. Credentials are shown with:
demyx info domain.tld -lOLS-Bedrock Stack
Run Roots Bedrock on OpenLiteSpeed:
demyx run domain.tld --stack=ols-bedrock --sslSwitching Stacks
From OLS to NGINX-PHP:
demyx config domain.tld --stack=nginx-phpYou can switch betweenolsandnginx-php. You cannot switch fromolstobedrock(different WordPress structure).
