Usage#

demyx edit <app> <args>

Description#

Opens the app's .env file in nano inside the Demyx container. Use this for direct edits to environment variables without going through demyx config.

After editing, use -r to immediately regenerate compose.yml and .env and recreate containers.

# Open app .env in nano
demyx edit domain.tld

# Edit and immediately apply changes
demyx edit domain.tld -r

Notes#

• Only edit variables you understand — many are managed automatically by Demyx.
• For most config changes, prefer demyx config which handles validation and container lifecycle.
• After manual edits without -r, run demyx refresh domain.tld -fr to apply.
