Environment Variables

Overview

Each WordPress app managed by Demyx has its own .env file stored in the Demyx container at /demyx/wp/<domain>/.env. You can view it with demyx info domain.tld or edit it with demyx edit domain.tld.

The host stack also has a .env file stored in the demyx Docker volume. View it with demyx host env or edit it with demyx host edit.

Most variables are managed automatically by demyx config and demyx refresh. Manual editing is rarely needed.

Host Identity

Variable	Description
`DEMYX_AUTH_USERNAME`	Default HTTP auth username for generated host services
`DEMYX_AUTH_PASSWORD`	Default HTTP auth password for generated host services
`DEMYX_CF_KEY`	Cloudflare API key used for wildcard SSL
`DEMYX_CPU`	Core service CPU limit, auto-calculated when unset
`DEMYX_DOMAIN`	Server's primary domain, used for Traefik and generated app defaults
`DEMYX_EMAIL`	Email used for Let's Encrypt certificates and default app admin email
`DEMYX_HOSTNAME`	Hostname displayed in system information
`DEMYX_IP`	Server IP used for whitelist-related config
`DEMYX_MEM`	Core service memory limit, auto-calculated when unset
`DEMYX_MODE`	Runtime mode (`stable` by default)
`DEMYX_SERVER_IP`	Detected public/server IP passed into the Demyx container
`DEMYX_TELEMETRY`	Enable daily telemetry ping (`true`/`false`)
`DEMYX_TZ`	Timezone used by the Demyx stack

`DEMYX_HEALTHCHECK_DISK_THRESHOLD`	Disk usage percentage that triggers notifications
