Usage

bash
demyx wp <app> <wp-cli args>
demyx wp all <wp-cli args>

Description

Executes WP-CLI commands inside the app's WordPress container. Any arguments after the app name are passed directly to wp.

Examples

# List installed plugins
demyx wp domain.tld plugin list

# Update all plugins
demyx wp domain.tld plugin update --all

# Update all themes
demyx wp domain.tld theme update --all

# Update WordPress core
demyx wp domain.tld core update

# Search and replace in database
demyx wp domain.tld search-replace 'http://domain.tld' 'https://domain.tld'

# Export database
demyx wp domain.tld db export /tmp/backup.sql

# Import database
demyx wp domain.tld db import /tmp/backup.sql

# Create a new admin user
demyx wp domain.tld user create newadmin admin@domain.tld --role=administrator

# Flush rewrite rules
demyx wp domain.tld rewrite flush

# Run on all apps (e.g. update all plugins across all sites)
demyx wp all plugin update --all

Notes

  • Commands run as the demyx user inside the container.
  • Use demyx exec domain.tld -r if you need root access for file operations.
  • demyx wp all skips apps that return errors, so it's safe to use on multiple sites.
  • demyx exec — full shell access to any container
  • demyx config --wp-update — enable automatic WP-CLI updates via cron
