Usage#

demyx smtp

Description#

Sends a test email using the SMTP settings configured in the host .env. If the email arrives, SMTP is working correctly.

Setup#

Configure SMTP in demyx host edit:

DEMYX_SMTP=true
DEMYX_SMTP_TO=recipient@domain.tld
DEMYX_SMTP_FROM=demyx@yourdomain.tld
DEMYX_SMTP_HOST=smtp.mailprovider.com
DEMYX_SMTP_PORT=587
DEMYX_SMTP_USERNAME=your@email.tld
DEMYX_SMTP_PASSWORD=yourpassword

Then restart: demyx host restart

Testing#

demyx smtp

If DEMYX_SMTP is not set to true, you will see:

[ERROR] Please set DEMYX_SMTP to true, run on host: demyx host edit
